The Solution
COMIT partnered with Peplink to design and deploy a mass transit Wi-Fi solution running on CYTA’s 5G mobile network. Peplink MAX Transit 5G Routers were installed in each vehicle and Peplink MAX BR1 LTE Routers were used at the depot locations. InControl Cloud Management allows for the IT Administrators to monitor status and location of each bus as well as push updates and settings, greatly reducing IT administrative overheads. A Captive portal has been implemented to displayed advertisements as well as provide passenger login for increased levels of customer service.
